Payments must be made in full at the time of scheduling and completed 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment. If a time has been agreed upon by both parties and payment has not been completed by 24 hours prior to your appointment time, your appointment will be rescheduled.
Consultations cancelled 24 hours before the scheduled session will receive a full refund minus any credit card transaction fee we are charged. Missed appointments with no notice and appointments cancelled within 24 hours will be charged the full amount of the consultation fee.
We understand that sometimes things come up that will require a client to need to reschedule an appointment. Because of this, you may reschedule once without any fee as long as 24 hours notice is provided.
I am fully committed to bringing skill, empathy, love and compassion to every consultation. I pledge to carefully listen to your animals and to share with you the messages they send me through pictures, sounds, scents, and feelings. Further, I work hard to describe these to you in A clear, understandable, supportive and loving manner.
Before the sessions, time is spent communicating with your animal in preparation for the consultation. During the sessions, I intentionally provide time for you to discuss and respond to what your animal has shared with me. Communication between humans requires continual checking and clarity, and I want to make sure the messages are understandable. When translating from a picture to words, I may tell you what's being sent and ask you what it means to you. Effective animal communication is an active collaboration among the human client, the consultant and the animal.
However, if you are unhappy with the messages from your animals or with the consultation, and make that clear to me in the first 15 minutes of the session, I am happy to end the consultation and refund the unused time on a pro-rated basis. If you are unhappy with the consultation but do not communicate this with me until after a consultation, no refund will be issued.
I wholeheartedly want my clients and their animals to be genuinely helped by and pleased with our work together. But no animal communicator can guarantee that a client will be happy with what their animal has to say or how they say it. Animal communicators can tell you what your animal is saying and feeling, but we cannot guarantee that you will agree with it, like it, or even believe it.
Even as we work diligently and ethically to communicate with animals and to translate their messages to our clients, we cannot assume responsibility for another person's reactions to their animals' messages.
I wholeheartedly wish that a session with a professional animal communicator could guarantee that problems would be resolved, behavior changed and grief completely healed as a result of a consultation. However, this can no more be guaranteed than a veterinarian can guarantee restored health or cured disease after a medical intervention, or a therapist can guarantee a cure of depression after a therapy session.
What I can guarantee is providing a respectful, loving, thorough and skillful animal communication in which every effort is made to facilitate change, resolve problems, or alleviate emotional distress. Facilitators of problem solving and healing in any context, including animal communication, cannot guarantee outcomes. Healing and problem solving are often processes that continue over time, not stand alone events. These processes often have multiple layers of issues to sort through, understand and release which require continued attention beyond one discussion or session. Sometimes, of course, when the root cause of a problem is simple a misunderstanding, results can occur very quickly. But issues of trauma, longstanding, deep seated issues or significant grief cannot be expected to be resolved or healed in one hour.
Refunds are not provided to clients who are not satisfied with the degree of change that occurred after a consultation. No one can command pets to act or behave in any certain way or manner on your behalf. However, I will use my skills as a mediator to negotiate the best choices for a happy pet family and better pet wellness.
I'm an animal communicator. A two-way conversation between you and your animal is what I provide. I will not respond to test or proof questions. If you are looking for proof that telepathic communication is real, or if you need to ask test questions in order to believe what an animal communicator relays to you from your animal, please don't schedule a consultation with me. This will prevent ill feelings. I don't respond to testing of that nature and a refund for the consultation will not be issued.
By scheduling a session, you fully agree to these terms and you agree that your submission of the scheduling form is an electronic signature and agreement as follows:
"I have read and understood the above statement. I understand that this practitioner is not a veterinarian and that the consultation/treatment/therapy is not to be construed as veterinary or any other medical advice.
I hereby release and hold harmless Cheri Michelle Hayashi from any liability due to accidental, coincidental or other damages or injuries to self, family members or animal(s), and/or personal property, and from loss of property resulting during or after said consultation or workshop in the following of any suggestions, information, instruction or advice given by Cheri Michelle Hayashi.
I as pet parent/owner, or agent of the pet parent/owner, agree to have this session/consultation for our animal(s) and by my payment of and participation in said session/consultation, herby give my consent and agree to adhere to all terms and policies of this agreement and any clearly outlined or linked Cheri Michelle web site such as the privacy policy. I further understand amendments, revisions and updates may be made to these terms and policies and I may check on this Cheri Michelle.com site at any time for those changes."
